With the plane to Ibiza
Either with the plane or with the car, the journey always leads about Ibiza, because Formentera does not have an airport itself.

In about two flying hours Ibiza is available from nearly any airport in Europe.

To the habour of Ibiza city
Anybody who has not booked an all-inclusive tour and the transfer is organised by the tour operator, can reach the harbour in about 20 minutes with the cab, costs around 15 Euros.
The public bus nr.10 operates between airport and harbour as well, costs around 1,20 Euros.
Th edriving time varies between 15 and 25 minutes depending on the main traffic time.
From November to April the busses operate hourly 7.20, 8.20, 9.20.... 22.20
From May to October half-hourly 7.20, 7.50.... 22.50 and stop directly at the ship landing stage. |

From the harbour of Ibiza to Formentera
Arrived at the habour of Ibiza city, the continuation of the journey occurs per ferry to La Savina, Formentera. There are four different ferry companies available:
Mediterranea-Pitiusa , Iscomar, Trasmapi and Balearia.
The current ferry times are available from the respective ferry companies. The running time takes about 25 minutes with the fast ferry calles rapido. The costs range between 16 and 19 euros. Be ware when booking your flight that your arrival is not later than 20.30 and your departure is not earlier than 9.00 o´clock. Othervise you ahve to spend a night in Ibzia.
To your accomodation on Formentera
At the habour of La Savina there are sufficient cabs available, which will get you comfortable to your vcation residence.
Journey with the car
Who does nopt wnat to miss the luxus traveling with its own car in order to take his surf or car equipment, has the possibility to take a car ferry from Barcelona, Denia or Valencia via Ibiza to Formentera. Detailed information you will receive from the ferry compaies themselves.
